About Maike
Maike has been working in the software industry for over 13 years. She started her career as a media designer, then moved into software development and Product Operations, and is now a Program Manager. Today, she works together with people from different departments at shopware AG to successfully bring their products to market. She enjoys moving things forward effectively. What helps her do that is a combination of clarity and empathy: addressing things openly, creating accountability, and at the same time making room for different perspectives. She challenges the status quo, asks the right questions, and co-creates structures and ways of working that help everyone move forward pragmatically and iteratively. As a feminist with a growth mindset, she values genuine connections, diversity, and integrity. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new interests, currently including mountain biking and playing electronic drums.
